Dear Santa

Dear Santa,
A bag of chocolate-covered coffee beans would be quite lovely this year. I have tasted them at a friend's wedding earlier this fall and I am longing for more.
Jewelry is always nice.
Should you find it in your heart to give me a car, I would very much appreciate a vintage 1982 Toyota pick-up truck, orange with yellow stripes, with a perfectly rebuilt engine and a booster seat so my feet can reach the pedals. I know this is not an environmentally correct gift but think how pleased I would be to be cruising - all windows down - in such a cool ride. Wouldn't my happiness add to the overall good karma of the world?
And speaking of the road, I would very much like an unlimited number of guaranteed safe returns for our combined four children for the year. Wherever our children might go - in their own cars or any other form of transportation - I want them back, all of them, with all their limbs and brains intact.
I could do with a new tea-kettle and the garden fence needs to be repaired. I don't know if you've branched out in the mental training department yet, or if it is even o.k. to ask for behavior modifications for members of my immediate family but since only those who ask might receive, here goes:
Would you please convince my son to stop playing ball in the house?
And do you think you might be able to train our little family to rinse and place their dishes in the dishwasher after each meal instead of leaving them in the sink?
And if you can't modify their behavior, would at least pass the word along? Subliminally in their sleep perhaps?
And one last thing: do you think you could find a Starbucks cream cheese muffin for me on Christmas day? Starbucks has yanked them from their store on the ground that they are "seasonal items". Rats!
Thank you Santa. I believe in you man.
desires,
